Knightcare Management is searching for an Environmental Health and Safety Manager to help ensure safety and regulatory compliance for multiple Senior Care communities located in California. This position reports directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing strategies and programs to enable compliance with applicable federal, state, and local Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) regulatory requirements, including company Workplace Safety (WPS) policies and standards. This position supervises other Environmental Health and Safety Administrators for the organization.

The job duties listed are essential functions of the position. However, other duties may be assigned, and may also be considered

essential functions of the position:

1. Resolves standard community EH&S issues and is the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on WPS matters.

2. Recognizes and assesses hazards and risks by developing and implementing best practices for identifying, analyzing, documenting, and communicating standard and nonstandard workplace trends.

3. Prepares analysis and reports regarding the state of environmental health and safety.

4. Controls workplace risk by preparing and training employees on general guidelines to promote workplace safety and compliance; evaluate the effectiveness of these measures to improve workplace safety outcomes.

5. Collaborates cross-functionally to solve business EH&S and workplace problems; escalates issues or risks as appropriate; communicates progress and information.

6. Performs safety inspections, prepares written reports of findings and recommendations for corrective or preventive measures and follows up to ensure measures have been implemented.

7. Conducts post-accident investigation or near misses and prepares reports identifying possible causes and hazards and ensures proper corrective and preventative measures have been implemented.

8. Measures and evaluates the effectiveness of the Company’s hazard management systems, policies, and procedures with recommended changes that reflect opportunities to eliminate workplace injuries.

9. Study ergonomic issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.

10. Must be able to travel upto 75% of the time.

11. Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Knightcare Management is searching for a Compensation Analyst for a very reputable Senior Care organization with Corporate Headquarters in Los Angeles, CA. This is a hybrid position. Under the direction of the Human Resources Director, this position is responsible for administering the day-to-day activities required to maintain the organization’s compensation plans. Some of these activities will include evaluating positions, conducting market surveys, analyzing statistical data, drafting job descriptions, reviewing and recommending adjustments to the pay structures, and overseeing data integrity in the compensation database(s).

The job duties listed are essential functions of the position. However, other duties may be assigned, and may also be considered essential functions of the position.

1.    Provide Managers guidance and counsel on salary proposals, job evaluations, promotion requests and other comp related programs to support organizational priorities.

2.    Conduct job studies and job analysis across the organization to maintain position classification and grade equity within salary structure.

3.    Ensure all job descriptions are updated as well as in the proper job description format.

4.    Participate in salary surveys and analyze market data.

5.    Compiles statistical information and prepares reports relating to all aspects of the compensation program utilizing the HRIS and other systems.

6.    Research, collect and analyze market data in order to determine appropriate salary grade and title for proposed new positions and re-evaluations of current positions and assessing internal and external equity.

7.    Ensure compliance with the Federal and State Labor laws as they pertain to compensating employees.

8.    Researches and resolves compensation issues.

9.  Perform all other related duties as assigned.
